(Cartoon feature for young kids)

Send the young ones to this colorful cartoon feature and head to the malls.

DreamWorks gives us an average kiddie cartoon with lots of color, characters and cool messages like “Nobody’s perfect”, “Family is important” and “Courage and caring are what counts.”

Jim Parsons is the voice of Oh!, named by his fellow Boovs because every time he shows up they moan “Oh!” The Boovs are known by their main characteristic: running away. When the mean looking Gorg threatens them, the Boov escape from their planet to Earth, where they relocate all the humans to Happy Humans Towns in Australia.

Rihanna is the voice of Tip, short for gratuity (Get it? The kids won’t), the human girl who hid while her mother and everyone else on the planet went to Australia. Tip meets Oh!. They learn how to communicate, experience culture clash and finally bond, heading off in a car-like flying vehicle to find her mother. The Boovs are after Oh!’s password to stop the Gorg, which of course happens just in time.

Good messages, colorful characters and lots of action, along with kiddie bathroom humor, will keep the young ones in their seats for an hour and a half.

Rated PG, with bathroom humor.
