The Bishop Hendricken freshman baseball team beat La Salle twice in the regular season, but with the state title on the line Friday, the Rams got the last laugh. La Salle captured the freshman state championship with a 3-1 over the Hawks at McCarthy Field. The second-seeded Rams had blown past Portsmouth in the semifinals, while the top-seeded Hawks had cruised over Tiverton. (Warwick Beacon photos by Jerry Silberman / risportsphoto.com)
