This week, the students at Bishop Hendricken High School will celebrate their achievements in the arts with two separate events at the school in the next few days.
Tonight, the school will celebrate Best of Media Arts night. The evening will consist of screenings of the best student-written, student-acted, student-directed and student-produced short films from this school year. Admission is free, and the program starts at 7 p.m. Screenings will be held in the Harrop Theater at Hendricken.
Thursday will be a night of music as the school holds their annual Spring Concert. The school’s three choirs, String Orchestra and Concert Band will all perform for the show, which begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 per person, however active-duty and retired members of the United States Military will be admitted for free. The concert will take place in the school’s McNally Gymnasium.
