Henry A. Phillips, 75, a resident of Warwick for 39 years, passed away at home Tuesday, December 22, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Jeanette B. (Calitri) Phillips for 52 years.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Walter R. and Marie (LePage) Phillips. He was an Army veteran. Henry worked as a machinist for Cumberland Engineering for 35 years before retiring. He was a proud homeowner. Henry loved the comfort of his own home and providing for his family.
Henry was the loving father of David Phillips and his wife, Ann Marie; Ronald Phillips and his wife, Heather; Christine McCoy and her husband, Andrew; grandfather of Margaret, Michaela, Marissa M., Alexandra, Stephanie, Alexis, Amanda, Marissa C., Carly, and Jacob; great-grandfather of Evelynn.
His funeral will be held Monday, December 28, 2015 at 9 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Timothy Church, Warwick Ave. Burial with military honors in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Visiting hours Sunday 3-7 p.m.
