Mike Mester scales the old swing ride tower that stands as a reminder of Rocky Point’s past. He and his friends have climbed one of the Skyliner stanchions but have thought better than reaching for the top of the swing tower, although others have done it. “It moves around too much for me,” said Sean McCarthy, one of the three at the park Sunday.

    How about the Beacon do a story about kids playing in the street and dodging cars? It is great fun and should be highlighted. Showing pictures of kids darting in and out of traffic would be rad!!
