(Inside look of Hitch's making of “Psycho”)

Anthony Hopkins gives a great performance as Alfred Hitchcock, along with Helen Mirren as his wife, Alma. We get an inside look into the famous director's psyche and the influence his wife had on the making of his movies.

Most of the movie centers around his making of "Psycho,” an idea that he couldn't and wouldn't let go, even though nobody, including his studio, Paramount, wanted to touch with a 10-foot pole.

This is not a great movie – not a lot happens – but it does give you an insight into the making and selling of a movie from a different perspective.

When Hopkins, as Hitchcock, talks to the camera at the end of the movie, he faces the ultimate question, "Where do I go from here?" The writers have come up with a clever answer.

Rated PG-13, with some profanity. Young folks who have not seen "Psycho" will not get it. If I were the film promoter, I would have brought it back either in theatres or on TV.
