Showcase Warwick and Seekonk have had great success for their Monday afternoon (1 p.m.) Silver Screen Classics.
Three of Alfred Hitchcock's best are scheduled for October (no showing on Columbus Day).
"The Man Who Knew Too Much" starring Peter Lorre is scheduled for Oct. 17.
"The 39 Steps," recently spoofed at Theatre-by-the-Sea, will be shown Oct. 24. It will be fun to watch the serious drama after seeing the hilarious spoof. It stars Robert Donat and Madeline Carroll.
"The Lady Vanishes," often considered Hitchcock's greatest thriller, will play on Oct. 31.
All this, plus popcorn and a drink for only $2, makes the Silver Screen Classics the best show in town.
