Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island is holding its annual signature charity gala on Saturday, May 11 at the Citizens Bank Rotunda, One Citizens Plaza in Providence. “An Evening in Venice” promises to be an evening that guests won’t soon forget.

The event will showcase the charming culture of the 16th century-inspired baroque Venetian Masquerade Ball, set against the backdrop of the Providence skyline.

The fundraiser will feature Café Nuovo chefs and their food creations, food stations and cocktails. Live entertainment by Night Shift, a versatile and high-energy band from Boston, will provide a wide range of music guaranteeing a fun-filled, dancing experience.

Grace Ormonde, of Wedding Style magazine, is this year’s Honorary Chair. Creating the evening’s interior design is Tony Ormonde from Ormonde Productions. Tony is known for incorporating all elements necessary to truly transform a celebration into a memorable occasion. “We are pleased to have Grace and Tony Ormonde involved with the planning and design – this is a true family affair!” says Chuck Iacono, vice president of philanthropy at Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island.

Attire is cocktail festive. “Venetian-inspired masks are optional, but certainly welcome,” adds Iacono.

Tickets are $75 per person and can be purchased online at www.hhcri.org or by calling Pam Cassidy at 415-4217. Sponsorships also are still available.
