As part of Educator Appreciation Week, Barnes & Noble Warwick is pleased to work with ENRICHri to provide a workshop for current and future homeschoolers: Home school Basics and Immersion Studies Workshop

Homeschool Basics:

Join the ENRICHri Board members as they discuss the basics of getting started in homeschooling. Meet us in the cafe’ following the Immersion workshop and we’ll be happy to answer any questions you might have.

Immersion Studies:

Jennee DeJongh shares her method of using immersion or unit studies. The immersion approach is designed to give both in-depth and broad understandings of subjects revolving around an entire theme that interests the child. This integrated approach may include science, math, geography, art, music, history, language, literature, drama, and creative movement and more. Immersion studies are an experiential, hands-on approach to learning.
