Homemade holiday goodies at West Bay’s craft fair

West Bay Residential Services, a facility at 158 Knight Street that provides care and support to more than 130 individuals with developmental disabilities, is hosting its second annual craft and baked goods holiday bazaar Wednesday, Dec. 5, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to benefit Rhode Islanders with developmental disabilities.

Items include jewelry, wreaths, cookies and even homemade dog bones. Community members with developmental disabilities have made all items in the sale, and proceeds from the event will go to individual crafters.

West Bay has organized the event in cooperation with Gateways to Change, a non-profit provider of care and support services in Warwick and Project Friends, which is based at the Coventry Senior Center and offers day services for people with disabilities. The sale is open to the public. Visit www.westbayri.org for more information.
