The Kent Hospital Auxiliary has announced its 19th annual golf tournament held July 11 raised more than $43,000 for the hospital. The event, which hosted 122 golfers, was held at Potowomut Golf Club in Warwick. Funds raised will help launch new programs and services, enhance essential patient care facilities and help secure the latest advancements in technology.
“This year’s golf tournament was a tremendous success and an enjoyable day for all who participated,” said Mike Dacey MD, MS, FACP, president and coo Kent Hospital. “The Auxiliary annually puts together an outstanding community event while raising critical funds to help advance care at Kent Hospital with state-of-the-art equipment.”
The auxiliary congratulated golf tournament winners and thanked tournament sponsors and special guest Frank Carpano, sports anchor for WJAR-NBC 10 sports.
The Kent Hospital Auxiliary has been an integral part of the Kent Hospital community for 65 years, raising several millions of dollars and donating thousands of hours to the hospital.
