House FULL of blues
Jessica A. Botelho
TALENTED TEEN: Bellucci, a freshman at Warwick Veterans Memorial High School, taught himself how to play guitar on his father’s 1966 Gibson Melody Maker when he was 11. Here, he performs on his favorite guitar, a Fender Stratocaster.

Grammy-nominated blues vocalist and harmonica player James Montgomery, as well as Warwick guitarist Cory Bellucci, 15, who Montgomery has taken under his wing, performed blues hits to a packed house of 221 at the Warwick Elks Lodge at 1919 West Shore Road Friday night. Montgomery was joined by his band members, including drummer Seth Pappas; (right) guitarist George McCann; and bassist David Hull, who has toured with the rock band Aerosmith and is a permanent member of the Joe Perry Project.
