Mike Aurecchia has been named to the newly created position of assistant VP of retail lending at Greenwood Credit Union (GCU). His new primary focus will be to supervise, motivate and mentor the retail lending staff. Aurecchia will maintain his role as a consumer loan officer, assisting the mortgage origination department. In this position, he will support all aspects of retail lending, working directly with the VP of retail lending. He joined GCU in April in the consumer lending department. Aurecchia brings extensive banking experience, having previously worked in consumer lending and underwriting for more than 15 years, including serving as a supervisor. Actively involved in the community, Aurecchia serves as Boy Scout leader. He currently resides in Cranston with his wife, Lauren, and two children.
