The Rhode Island Mentoring Partnership (RIMP) recently received a $5,000 donation from the Coastway Cares Charitable Foundation. The foundation is the philanthropic arm of Coastway Community Bank and the donation is a result of the Coastway Cares Charitable Foundation’s 11th Annual Charity Golf Tournament. “This year’s tournament was a great success and Coastway Cares is proud to be able to support the Rhode Island Mentoring Partnership’s work of enhancing the lives of Rhode Island’s youth through mentoring,” said Stephen Tamborelli, vice president of the Coastway Cares Charitable Foundation. “We count Coastway Community Bank among our most ardent supporters,” said Rhode Island Mentoring Partnership President and CEO Jo-Ann Schofield. “In addition to financial contributions, dozens of employees of Coastway have offered up thousands of hours of volunteer service as mentors to children in the communities they serve. They truly are a community bank.” From left: Coastway Community Bank Vice President of Sales and Marketing Brenda Forsyth presents the check from the Coastway Cares Charitable Foundation of RI to Schofield.
