Lauren E. Cranston, a former graduate of Toll Gate High School and intern for the Warwick Beacon, has recently been inducted into the Sigma Tau Delta English Honor Society. An English major and Political Science minor at Assumption College in Worcester, Cranston was chosen for induction because of her 3.7 GPA. She was inducted on April 24 and will be eligible to receive any of the numerous scholarships offered to members of Sigma Tau Delta, some of which can be for as much as $5,000.
