Only a month ago foundations were being dug for three single-family homes on Bake Street and West Shore Road in Conimicut and, as of Tuesday, all three buildings were in various stages of completion. “It really doesn’t take too long,” said Steven Kent, owner of SKJR Properties Inc., who is building the homes on the site of a group home that was closed after a devastating fire several years ago. Kent said the houses are being built under the new village zone that reduces setbacks and that they will be in keeping with the “retro look” of the neighborhood. Two of the houses will have attached garages. They will have about 1,460 square feet of living space and will sell for more than $200,000. Kent expects the first of the new homes to be finished in about a month.

So glad they took down that dump that was burned down. I use to see a lot of crazy people walking around in that area but even since that nursing home burned down the nuts seemed to have gone away

OMG RonPaul REALLY? Not everyone can be as perfect as you. I actually had the pleasure of meeting a couple of those so called "nuts" and they were very nice people with some difficult disabilities. I miss the guy who used to salute you every time you drove through Conimicut. He made me smile everyday! You know they had lived together for many years and then were all split up as a result of that fire, which must have been very difficult for them considering that they were disabled.
