Irene F. (Boisvert) Wiggin, 92, of North Country Club Drive, Warwick, passed away Friday, January 9, 2015 at Scalabrini Villa, North Kingstown, RI. She was the wife of the late Charles C. Wiggin.
She was a daughter of the late Ernest and Obelina (Tourigny) Boisvert. Irene enjoyed oil painting and music and was a member and volunteer at the Pilgrim Senior Center, where she enjoyed tap dancing with the Happy Hoofers. Irene loved spending time with her family and caring for children.
Irene was the beloved mother of Carmen J. Grant, Janet R. Dutilly and her husband, Leo, Nancy L. Heroux and Charlene A. Williams and her husband, Mitchell. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren, and a great-grea- granddaughter. She was the sister of the late Leodor and Normand Boisvert.
Her funeral service was held Monday, January 12th in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave. Burial will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park. Visiting hours were Sunday 3-7 p.m.
