Dan Cunningham, 270 Squantum Drive in Governor Francis Farms, has transformed his garage once again into a Christmas village complete with trains, trolleys and, of course, as a veteran Marine, a Marines Corps marching band. The display is even bigger this year with a total of 210 houses. “I’m really a minor in a 70-year-old body,” says Dan who welcomes the community to view his work and that of his two sons. This year he also got an assist from neighbors and friends when they learned his oldest, Mike, is in the hospital. And lending a special touch this Saturday, Cunningham’s friends at the Coffee Grinder, Lefavorite Bakery and Palazzo Deli will provide refreshments between 5 and 9 p.m. Visitor donations will go to the Ronald McDonald House, Warwick Rotary Charities and A Wish Come True. The display is open every day from now until Jan. 6 from 5 to 9 p.m.
