James F. Kiley Jr.

James F. Kiley Jr., 87, of Warwick and Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., passed away July 9, 2011 at Kent Hospital. He was the husband of the late Virginia F. (Campbell) Kiley.
Born in New Bedford, Mass., he was a son of the late James F. and Hope (Gormley) Kiley. James was a business manager for International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 2323. He was secretary treasurer for the State AFL-CIO and served on the Board of Directors for Blue Cross/Blue Shield. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Army.
He leaves five sons, Colin B., Lance R., Darren J., Brooks D. and James F. Kiley III; three daughters, Hope A. Nelson, Valerie S. Mueller and Elaine P. McEvoy; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was brother of the late Robert Kiley.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated July 13 at 1 a.m. at St. Timothy's Church, 1799 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Calling hours are July 12 from 6-8 p.m. at Jones-Walton-Sheridan Funeral Home, 1895 Broad St. at Park Ave, Cranston. Burial will be private.
