James P. Truex, Jr., age 68, of Aberdeen Avenue, Warwick, died on November 7, 2012 at Brentwood Nursing Home. He was the husband of Nancy E. (Williams) Truex.
Born in Providence, the son of the late James P. and Marjorie C. (Gillis) Truex, he lived in Warwick for most of his life. Mr. Truex was a retired antiques dealer.
Besides his wife; he is survived by two daughters, Joann M. Carner and her husband, George of West Warwick and Julie Truex Baker and her husband, Carl of Windham, Connecticut; and four grandchildren, Stephanie LaPointe, Michael LaPointe, Dylan Carner, and Carl Baker, Jr.
His funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 13, at 9 a.m. from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Benedict Church, 135 Beach Avenue, Warwick. Burial will be private.
