The American Cancer Society in Rhode Island invites the public to come out and support the Warwick Relay for Life at a Funny4Funds comedy fundraiser at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29, at the Knights of Columbus, 475 Sandy Lane, Warwick.
This evening of laughter features some of New England’s best comedians, raffle items including a David Ortiz signed baseball card and a 50/50 raffle. It is a “bring your own snacks event’’ but a cash bar will be available. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the show begins at 8:30 p.m.
Tickets cost $20 and can be purchased online at http://relayfunny4funds.eventbrite.com or by contacting Caitlin Howle, community manager, Relay For Life, New England Division, American Cancer Society, at caitlin.howle@cancer.org or 401-243-2638. Tickets also may be purchased at the door but advanced tickets are recommended.
All proceeds will benefit the Warwick Relay for Life event scheduled for Friday, June 17 at Toll Gate High School.
