Jeanne M. Giroux, age 57, of Independence Drive, Warwick, died unexpectedly at home on October 30, 2013.
Born in Providence, the daughter of the late Ernest F. and Helen T. (Bracken) Giroux, she lived in Warwick for most of her life. She was a graduate of Bryant College, now Bryant University.
Jeanne was employed by Hewlett Packard in Warwick since 2005. She was previously employed at the former Woonsocket Savings & Trust in Johnston, and the former Cottrell Credit Union in Westerly. She was a member of the board of directors of the RI Disability Coalition.
She is survived by two brothers: Alan F. Giroux of Smithfield and James M. Giroux of Coventry; five nephews, a niece; and four grandnieces.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 5, at 9 a.m. from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. William Church, 200 Pettaconsett Avenue, Warwick. Visiting hours are Monday 4-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to St. William Church.
