Jenny Miller, of Warwick, has been installed the 103rd president of the Rotary Club of Providence, one of the oldest and largest service organizations in southern New England. She is the youngest of seven women who have served as president in the club’s long history.

A member of the club since 2001, Miller has taken active leadership roles in numerous projects, earning recognition as a Paul Harris Fellow, a high honor in Rotary International. Most recently, she participated in an international water project, visiting the Dominican Republic where she installed water filters, built a latrine, and built a trash incinerator on the bateys (migrant worker villages) of La Romana along with Rotarians from Maine and Canada. 

“This was a life-changing experience for me,” said Miller. “The opportunity to provide clean water and sanitation for families was unbelievable and something I never thought so few Rotarians could do for so many families in such a short time. We take so much for granted, that it was amazing to give back to those less fortunate.” 

Miller owns and operates Senior Care Concepts Inc., a geriatric care management company. She started the company seven years ago to help seniors and their families navigate the health care system.

She also volunteers with the RI Alzheimer’s Association and the Blessings in a Backpack program of Rhode Island. 

A lifelong Rhode Islander, she resides in Warwick with her husband Eric and their two daughters.
