Joan R. (Hennesey) Larsen, 83, of Warwick passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at The Greenwood Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Norman A. Larsen, Jr.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Carmel (Archambault) Hennessey. Mrs. Larsen was the Director of Human Resources for B.I.F., Inc. and C.E. Maguire Co. until her retirement. She was a graduate of West Warwick High School, Class of 1949, U.R.I., Class of 1953 and a member of Alpha Xi Delta Sorority. She was a communicant of St. Catherine of Siena Church, where she was active in parish affairs for many years.
She is survived by several Godchildren; her friends who were to her a beloved family, Velma Kennedy Maynard and the late Deacon Jacques Maynard; and her dear neighbors and friends on Quinlan Court.
Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation on Thursday, December 24, 2015 from 9:00-10:30 am in the Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95) followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 3252 Post Road, Warwick. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, West Warwick.
