John C. “Buster” De Sisto, 82, of Bly Street, Warwick, passed away on Saturday, August 1m 2015, at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the loving husband of the late Marie Angela (Del Vecchio) De Sisto.

Born in Barrington, a son of the late John and Gilda (Di Paolo) De Sisto, he lived in Warwick for 62 years. Mr. De Sisto was a carpentry teacher at the West Bay Vocational School in Coventry, retiring in 1994, as well as a member of the Carpenters’ Union Local #94 for over 50 years.

He is survived by three daughters, Susan A. Taylor, of Coventry, Pamela J. LeBlanc and her husband, Dennis A., of Warwick and Kristen M. Fernandes and her husband, Joseph M., of Warwick; two sons, Jonathan J. De Sisto and his wife, Elaine M., of Warwick and Stephen J. De Sisto and his companion, Carole A. Carter, of Warwick; a sister, Anna Integlia, of Barrington; two brothers; Nicholas P. De Sisto, formerly of Barrington, and Joseph G. De Sisto, of Barrington; twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was the grandfather of the late Tiffany Renee De Sisto.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, August 8, at 9 a.m. from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. William Church, 200 Pettaconsett Avenue, Warwick. Visiting hours will be Friday from 5-8 p.m. Burial will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick.
