Joseph R. “Bob” LaCroix

Joseph R. “Bob” LaCroix, 48, of Border St. died April 26, 2012 at the Philip Hulitar In-patient Center in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Deborah A. (Brackenbury) LaCroix.

Born in Warwick, the son of Joseph and Joyce (Rush) La Croix of Coventry, he attended West Warwick High School and had worked with his dad for over thirty years at his auto body shop. Rob was a NASCAR fan whose favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt, Jr. His family remembers him as a very caring and helpful person and a lover of animals.

Besides his wife and parents; he is survived by his sister Celinda Joaquin and her husband Michael of West Warwick; his niece Kayleigh Cousineau and her husband David of Coventry; his nephew Jeffrey Degraide and his wife Jennifer of West Warwick; his mother-in-law Mildred Brackenbury of Warwick and his sister-in-law Lori Brackenbury of Conn.; he was the son-in-law of the late Douglas Brackenbury.

Funeral service Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home & Crematory, 659 East Greenwich Ave., West Warwick. Calling hours Monday 4-8 p.m.. Interment will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Warwick.
