Josephine “Josie” (DiMascia) Ginolfi, 94, of Warwick, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 7, 2015, at Sunnyview Nursing Home, Warwick. She was the beloved wife of the late Carmine “Sheikie” Ginolfi.

Born in Italy, she was a daughter of the late Bernardino and Filomena (DiGiovanni) DiMascia. Josie was an employee for Sears for many years, until her retirement. She was a communicant at Sacred Heart Church, West Warwick. Josie loved her family and enjoyed cooking, gardening and playing bocce. She was a past member of the East Natick Vets Club Ladies Auxiliary.

Josephine is survived by her loving son John C. Ginolfi and his wife, Deborah of Warwick. She was the cherished grandmother of Christina, John and Joseph Ginolfi; and great-grandmother of Ryan. Josephine was also the sister of M. Rose Senerchia and Antonetta McQueeney, both of West Warwick, and the late Benito “Benny” DiMascia and Maria Colaiacomo. Auntie Jo also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, at 10:00 a.m. from the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, 820 Providence Street, West Warwick. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting Hours: Tuesday morning from 9:00-10:00 a.m.
