Judith A. (Healy) Fleming

Judith A. (Healy) Fleming, age 70, of Carolyn Street, Warwick, died on September 26, 2012, at Greenwood Care & Rehabilitation Center. She was the beloved wife of Howard F. Fleming. They were married for 45 years.

Born in Providence, a daughter of Mary (Lacas) Healy of Landlake, FL and the late James Healy, she lived in Warwick for most of her life. Judith attended the Warwick Public Schools. She worked at the Greenwood Nursing Home, Miriam Hospital, and for the Warwick School Department. She was an active member of Ss. Rose & Clement Parish, and an active volunteer at the Greenwood Volunteer Fire Co. & Museum.

Besides her husband and mother; she is survived by a sister, Mary Beth McDade of Landlake, Florida, two brothers, Timothy Healy of Warwick and James Healy of South Carolina; two nephews and one niece.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 2, at 9:15 a.m. from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Clement Church, 111 Long Street, Warwick. Burial will be in North Burial Ground, Providence.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Greenwood Volunteer Fire Co., 45 Kernick Street, Warwick, RI 02886, or Ss. Rose & Clement Parish, or Bayada Home Health Care, 2 Charles Street, Providence, RI 02904.
