Judith L. (Denneny) Handy, died Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Kent Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Ronald L. Handy.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Henry J. and Alice M. (Donahue) Denneny, she lived in Cranston until making her home with her family in Warwick. Judith worked as the Human Resources Director for Swarovski Jewelry for many years. Judy loved to cook and spend time with her family. She loved animals and provided a loving home to many of them. Her grandsons and great granddaughter brought her much joy and were the light of her life.

She enjoyed shopping, gathering items in nature for crafting and giving her time to anyone in need. She also looked forward to the Friday night tradition, when she and her sister (best friend) would spend quality time together. She will be remembered for her compassion and the many acts of kindness she performed throughout her lifetime, never expecting anything in return.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters Jana Laplante (husband David Laplante) of Warwick, RI, Caryn Kebarian (husband Michael Kebarian), of Warwick RI and son David Handy of Warwick, RI; step-mother Theresa (Kearney) Denneny of Cranston, RI; twin sister, Maureen Hobin of Warwick, RI and brothers Robert Denneny of Wakefield, RI and Thomas Denneny of North Providence, RI; four grandsons: Michael Laplante, Daniel Laplante, Kyle Barry and Charles Kebarian; and a great granddaughter, Declynn Laplante.
