Junior PeeWee Pats win three more times

The Warwick PAL Junior PeeWee Patriots improved their record to 8-0 with wins against East Providence, North Kingstown 1, and North Kingstown 2 the last three weeks. Warwick out-scored their opponents 76-7 in those three games.

Highlighting those wins were captains Josh Reid, Eric Watts, and Zack Fraser each scoring three touchdowns. Fellow team captain Brett Babcock scored the lone defensive touchdown of the season on an interception. Warwick also scored on touchdowns by Ethan Laramee and A.J. Ucci.

The Patriot defense shut their opponents out in two of the three games. The defense was led by middle linebacker Mike Borges, the teams leading tackler in that stretch. Warwick turned their opponents over four times on two interceptions by Babcock and an interception and fumble recovery by Reid.

Warwick closes out the regular season against West Elmwood on Sunday.
