Karen J. (O’Keefe) Phillips, 56, of Warwick passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at home. She was the beloved wife of Michael J. Phillips, III.
Born in Lakehurst, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Robert J. and Betty-Jane (LaFrance) O’Keefe. Karen was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of American Legion Post 15 in East Greenwich.
She was the loving mother of Shannon L. Scavitti and her husband, Kevin of Jamestown and Sherry L. Brown and her husband, Paul of West Warwick. Cherished grandmother of Loralei Bruno, Joselyn Bruno, Madison Brown, Emma Brown and Ryan Lamb. Caring sister of Candace A. Bishop and her husband, William of Richmond. She is also survived by her niece Dawn E. Wright of Warwick; and her former husband Paul J. Christman of Jamestown.
Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation on Sunday, September 13, 2015 from 3-7 p.m. in the Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95).
