Kathleen A. "Kathy" McNamee, 62, of Warwick, died June 10, 2014 in the presence of her family at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late James C. and Rose G. (McFadden) McNamee. Kathy graduated from St. Xavier Academy, Providence, and received a B.A. in English from the University of Rhode Island. Before her retirement in 2009, Kathleen, served as the Director of Senior Services, Warwick, for 20 years.
She was the sister of Marion Cipolla of Worcester, Massachusetts, Susan Greeley of East Greenwich, RI and the late James C. McNamee Jr. Kathleen was the loving aunt of eight nieces and nephews; and three great-nieces and nephew. Kathy was a devoted daughter, and will be remembered for her kindness, compassion, and generosity.
A Mass Of Christian Burial will be held Monday, June 16th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 239 Oxford St., Providence. Burial will be in St. Charles cemetery, Blackstone, MA.
