Kathleen M. (McFadden) Santilli, age 81, of Isle of Capri Road, Coventry, died on February 7, 2014 at Alpine Nursing Home in Coventry. She was the wife of Walter P. Santilli for 62 years.
Born in Johnston, a daughter of the late Daniel and Marietta (McGuiness) McFadden, she lived in Warwick and Coventry for most of her life. Mrs. Santilli was employed as a bookkeeper at the Boy Scouts of America in Providence for 22 years before retiring. She was a past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of Warwick Council # 2295 Knights of Columbus.
She was the mother of Kathleen A. Santilli of Coventry, Walter P. Santilli, Jr. of Cary, North Carolina, Lori A. Anderson of Coventry, and the late Carolinda Santilli-Anderson; the grandmother of Joseph A. Santilli, Tana M. Santilli, Dominic J. Anderson, Nicole L. Anderson and Derec P. Santilli; and the great-grandmother of Jase and Gianna. She was also the sister of Irene Callahan of South Kingstown and Bernard McFadden of Colorado, and the late Joseph McFadden and Edward McFadden.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, February 12, at 9 a.m. from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Rita Church, 722 Oakland Beach Avenue, Warwick. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday from 4 - 7 p.m. Burial will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
