As it has done for years, the Warwick Veterans Council placed a wreath on the monument in memory of those who served in the military in Veterans Park in front of Vets High School. In a brief ceremony organized by Anthony Rodrigues of the Veterans Council, Councilwoman Camille Vella-Wilkinson spoke, as did City Council President Donna Travis. Several other elected officials attended, including Councilmen Joseph Gallucci, Ed Ladouceur, Thomas Chadronet and Joseph Solomon, Representative K. Joseph Shekarchi and Representative-elect Joseph Solomon Jr.
