You may have missed the lighthouse-themed bazaar held Saturday at the Woodbury Union Church in Conimicut, but it’s not too late to buy a variety of Christmas gifts from mugs, foot stools, T-shirts, signs, cards and Christmas tree ornaments bearing Conimicut and other Rhode Island lighthouses. The church at the intersection of West Shore Road and Beach Avenue will be open from 9 to 1 Wednesday through Friday and, of course on Sunday. Here Leslie Derrig, who manages the bazaar and Marilyn Baker display some of the lighthouse-themed items. At right, the homemade pickles went quickly from the table of preserves, jams and goodies made by parishioners. Carol Pendergast tempts Deb Brown and Linda McArthur, both from Narragansett, with a honey spread. Brown said she visited the bazaar because of her interest in things nautical and lighthouses.
