Kent Hospital will conduct a decontamination drill tomorrow beginning at 8:30 a.m. and is scheduled to end by 11 a.m.
The purpose of the drill is to test and evaluate Kent Hospital’s ability to decontaminate victims coming to the hospital who have been exposed to chemical contamination. The majority of drill activities will be conducted outside of the Emergency Department ambulance bay. No traffic or actual patients will be impacted. Real-world emergency situations take priority over drill actions. If a real emergency occurs the drill will be suspended or terminated.
