Kevin Anthony Martin, age 63, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2016, at Mary Wade Home, in CT of complications from Multiple Sclerosis.
He was the son of Dorothy Griffin and the late James M. Martin and late step-father Richard Griffin (retired WDP). He was a 1970 graduate of Pilgrim High School in Warwick. For the majority of his professional life he worked as a sales representative. He served for a time as director of the Rhode Island chapter of Cystic Fibrosis and ran for Warwick city council. He touched many with his warm and courageous spirit.
He is survived by his wife Lisa Hodes-Martin; daughters Tracie Martin Johnson, Courtney Gile, and Jingju Martin; and grandchildren, Nicholas and Nathan Johnson and Lily and Tessa Gile. Also survived by siblings, James Martin, Michele Marland, step-siblings Debra Borelli and Richard Griffin; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass will be celebrated at St. Rita Church, 722 Oakland Beach Ave, Warwick, RI, at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2016.
