Bay View Academy senior Yee Jung Kim of Warwick has advanced as a finalist in the 2012 National Merit Scholarship Program. This distinction places Kim in a group of approximately 15,000 students nationwide that represents less than 1 percent of U.S. high school graduating seniors. Beginning in March and continuing through June, approximately 8,300 of the finalists will be notified as having been selected to receive a Merit Scholarship.
