John Wickes School students got to see several varieties of owls up close recently and learn about these birds thanks to a program funded by the Robert Shapiro Fund created in the name of the late superintendent of schools. Marcia and Mark Wilson of Dunstable, Mass. run the “Eyes On Owls” live owl program. Here, Marcia introduces a pair of screech owls to kindergarteners.
