Kristen S. Michel and Neil D. Osterhout were united in marriage August 6, 2011 by Rev. Dr. Jonathan Malone at First Baptist Church of East Greenwich. A reception followed at the Quidnessett Country Club.
The bride is the daughter of Shirley E. Michel of Smithfield and the late Edwin G. Michel. She is a graduate of Smithfield High School, Providence College and Roger Williams University. She is employed by Provant Health Solutions.
The groom is the son of Daniel and Janice Osterhout of West Warwick. He is a graduate of West Warwick High School and the Community College of Rhode Island.
Meredith H. Michel, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Rajotte, sister of the groom, and Julie Rathier, sister of the groom.
Mauricio Di Martino, best friend of the groom, was best man. Ushers were Michael Osterhout, brother of the groom, and Scott Miracle.
The bride wore a one-piece strapless gown with lace-up closure, featuring a sweetheart neckline with enchanting beaded embroidery decorating around the top of bodice and a full bustled skirt caught up with beaded motifs and touting a bubble hem. She carried a bouquet of hot pink roses with two white roses placed in the center to symbolize the boutonnieres her late father Edwin and brother Paul would have worn.
The couple resides in West Warwick.
