Kristine A. Tarbox, 59, of Clermont, Florida, passed away unexpectedly August 2, 2012, at Heart of Florida Hospital, Haines City, Florida, with her husband and children by her side.
Born in Providence to Barbary L. Fanning and the late Charles L. Fanning, Jr., she lived in Coventry until 2008. She was a registered nurse at Rhode Island Hospital for many years and at Dr. P. Phillips Hospital, Orlando. Her sense of humor, words of wisdom, and caring spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She will be forever remembered in our hearts.
She was the wife of Frederick J. Tarbox; and devoted mother of Jennifer L. McAlpine and her husband, Michael J. McAlpine, of Ocala, Fla., Frederick J. Tarbox, Jr., of Niles, Michigan, and the late Melissa A. Tarbox. She also leaves behind her most precious treasures; her grandchildren, Leanne and Danielle McAlpine, of Ocala, Fla. and Frederick III (Bud) and Thomas Tarbox, of Niles, Michigan. She is the loving sister of Charles Fanning,III of Pepperell, Mass., Susan Conti of Warwick, Michael Fanning of Richmond, Karen Fusco of Coventry and the late Gregory Fanning. She is an aunt to sixteen nieces and nephews; and great-aunt to sixteen great-nieces and great-nephews; she was the aunt of the late Michael Fanning..
There will be a mass celebrated in her memory at Sts. John and Paul Church, 341 South Main St., Coventry, at 10 a.m. on September 16, 2012.
