Savage & Savage wins three in a row

Savage & Savage defeated DeGuilio 4-1 on Monday night behind excellent pitching performances by Dylan Palumbo and Aidan Sullivan, who combined for 10 strikeouts while allowing only one run. Sullivan went 2-for-3 at the plate with two doubles and three RBI. John Procaccini also went 2-for-3 with an RBI.

Savage & Savage 5, 

Sinapi Law 4

Savage & Savage pulled out a come-from-behind victory on Friday night. Sinapi scored two runs in the first inning and two runs in the third inning, while pitcher Connor Fallon kept Savage’s hitters off balance. In the fourth inning, Savage & Savage broke through. Nick Parent and Frankie Halliwell both hit singles and Ethan Asadorian hit a bases-clearing triple. Savage added two additional runs in the bottom of the fifth inning. Stephen O’Neil pitched 5.2 innings with seven strikeouts. Sullivan ended the game with a three-pitch strikeout in the top of the sixth inning. Sinapi’s Aiden Pacheco and Tyler Parks both went 2-for-3 and Conner Fallon had a base hit.

Coastway Credit Union 1

Savage’s Nick Carparelli pitched a solid four-inning complete game on Wednesday night. He scattered four hits with six strikeouts while allowing only one run. Savage’s offense was firing on all cylinders. Brian Famiglietti went 2-for-3 with an inside-the-park home run, a single and a walk. Frankie Halliwell went 2-for-4 with two triples. Carparelli, Dylan Palumbo and Stephen O’Neil each had three hits, while Jack Hornstein and Ethan Asadorian both had two.

Brennan’s Braces 12, VFW Post 4

Demitri Ayers pitched three strong innings and Joe Melucci and Collin Lemieux finished it off as first-place Brennan’s topped VFW. Andrew Merryfield hit his second inside-the-park home run of the season. Ryan Corrigan and Lemieux each had three hits. VFW did not go quietly, as its leadoff hitter Dylan Bourret had three hits and Mike Borges hit a home run in the sixth.

Sheridan Electric 21, Donelan’s 4

Jake Randall led the Sheridan offense, going 3-for-3 with two home runs. Cameron Armenti and Will Walaska also went 3-for-3, while Brandon Leach, Jacob Paul and Cameron Martin also had multi-hit games. Nathan Miller struck out seven in 2.2 innings.

Sinapi Law 11, Leo Tire 0

Tyler Park struck out 15 and hit a home run as Sinapi shut-out Leo Tire. Aiden Pacheco and Connor Fallon had big hits, as well. Sothea Ang-Minh stole home for a run, while Richard Cole and Sebastian Gluschenko played strong defense. Leo Tire’s Jared Reminder struck out nine and Nick Kirejczyk struck out four as the teams combined for 28 K’s.

Langevin’s 12,

DeGiulio Insurance 7

Domenic Brazeau’s two-run single sparked a five run fourth inning to break open a back-and-forth game and help Langevin’s to a 12-7 win over DeGiulio Insurance last Wednesday night at West Side. Sean Gallagher, Kenny Rix, Brazeau, Bryan Denton and Joey Izzi all had hits in the five-run inning. Langevin’s would add three more runs in the fifth inning paced by the hot bats of Chase Pariseau and Aaron Narcavage. Gallagher singled and Rix drove in two runs on a line drive single to left center. Aaron Rastella entered the game to pitch for Langevin’s with two outs in the top of the fifth and struck out the side in the top of sixth to secure the Langevin’s Victory.

Degiulio was led by Ben Rindeikis, who was 2-for-3 with a double, a triple, two runs scored and four RBI, and Thomas Mullane, who was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI. Henry LeClaire added an RBI triple and Alex Henderson had an RBI double.

Donelan’s 4,

DeGiulio Insurance 3

Donelan’s pitcher Jalen Dennis and DeGiulio pitcher Thomas Mullane went pitch-for-pitch, keeping the opposing team in check with strong performances. With the game tied 3-3 in the top of the sixth and men on first and second, Dylan Gallagher ripped a line drive double to center field, driving in Cameron Court to give Donelan’s the one-run lead. Elias Fura closed the game on the mound.

Thomas Mullane kept DeGiulio in the game with five innings of two-hit ball and nine strikeouts in his first starting pitching effort for DeGiulio. DeGiulio’s offense was also led by Danny Riccio, who was 2-for-2 with a run scored, and Jake White, who had an RBI double. Jeriel Garcia played well defensively for DeGiulio.

Brennan’s Braces 10,

Sheridan Electric 3

Andrew Merryfield pitched the maximum 85 pitches in 5.2 innings and Tyler Brunelle needed one pitch to finish the game, as Brennan’s topped Sheridan Electric. Brennan’s bats heated up in the fourth inning and scored nine runs to break a 1-1 tie.

Langevin’s 11, Leo Tire 5

Langevin’s used a 12-hit performance to defeat Leo Tire 11-5. Chase Pariseau led the Langevin hitting attack, going 3-for-3 with a double and a triple. Aaron Rastella and Sean Gallagher each had two hits for Langevin’s and Aaron Narcavage had a double. Leo Tire had hits from Ethan Laramee, Collin Murphy, Harry Dolan, Ronnie Desantis and Anthony Berry.
