Latin Film Festival comes to Warwick

You can see the award-winning Brazilian film Central Station (1998), starring Fernanda Montenegro, when the Providence Latin American Film Festival comes to Warwick Public Library on Thursday, Oct. 13 at 6:30 p.m.

It is the story of a bitter woman who reluctantly helps a lost boy at Rio de Janeiro's main train station travel across the country to his home. Tony Aguilar, Director of the Film Festival, will introduce the 113-minute drama. The film is in Portuguese with English subtitles.

On Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 6:30 p.m., No Return (2010) will be shown at the Warwick Museum of Art.

A father hunts down the man who killed his son in a hit-and-run accident, but when the wrong man becomes a suspect, the father is forced to face his own responsibility and guilt. The 106-minute thriller is in Spanish with English subtitles.
