Lawrence N. Cannone, 83, of Warwick passed away March 26, 2013 at Brentwood Nursing Home. He was the husband of the late Joyce A. (Prime) Cannone.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Lorenzo N. and Camille Cannone. Mr. Cannone was a self-employed contractor and served in The United States Air Force during World War II.
He was the beloved father of Joel L. Cannone of Cranston and Lawrence N. Cannone, Jr. of Warwick. Loving grandfather of Joel, Jillian, Jared, Ashton and Nicholas. Cherished great-grandfather of Tristan. Caring brother of Mary Magno of Providence.
His funeral service was held on Monday, April 1, 2013 at 9:30 am in The Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95). Burial followed in Rhode Island Veterans’ Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. www.murphyfuneralhomes.org
