Lawrence to manage Naughton’s re-election campaign

Representative Eileen S. Naughton (Dist.21-D) has announced that lifelong Warwick resident James S. Lawrence will serve as her 2016 campaign manager for re-election to the Rhode Island House of Representatives.

“It is a great honor to help Representative Naughton in her re-election effort,” Lawrence said in a statement. “I’ve known Eileen for many years and have always been impressed with her passion for service, her knowledge of the issues and her willingness to do all she can to help the residents of her district and this state. I look forward to working closely with the representative in the weeks and months ahead.”

Lawrence is a graduate of St. Kevin School, Bishop Thomas F. Hendricken High School, College of the Holy Cross, Suffolk University Law School and Suffolk University Executive MBA in Finance. He is the president of Lawrence & Associates, Inc. His leadership includes several high-profile, national community organizations such as a charter member of the Academy of Special Needs Planning Council, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the National Care Planning Council.

Lawrence has also served as the president of the Holy Cross Club of RI, president of the Warwick Historical Society, president of the Board of Directors of the Ocean State Montessori School, president of the Board at St. Kevin School in Warwick. He is presently president of the Board of Easter Seals RI and expanding Easter Seals’ mission to include military veterans and their families. Lawrence lives in District 21 with his spouse, Rachel and children, Ryan, Meghan, Brenden and Aiden.
