CHAPTER 74
TAXATION
ARTICLE I. – IN GENERAL
Be it ordained by the City of Warwick:
Section I. Chapter 56 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Warwick is hereby amended to add the following:
Sec. 74-4. Processing of tax payments.
All payments of taxes received by mail shall be credited to a taxpayer’s account as of the date of the United States Postal Service postmark on the envelope containing the payment.
Section II. This Ordinance shall take effect upon passage and publication as prescribed by law.
