Leokadia “Lee” (Kirejczyk) Andrukiewicz, 90, of Warwick since 1986 and formerly of Providence and Bonnet Shores, Narragansett passed away Thursday, August 11, 2016. She was the wife of the late Major Stanley Paul Andrukiewicz (Providence Police Department).

Lee was born in Providence, the fourth child of John and Stefania (Kutniewski) Kirejczyk. She was employed for 22 years in the Providence School System retiring in 1985. She was a member of St. Adalbert’s Church, a former Brownie leader, and also a member of the Pilgrim Senior Center, Gaspee Seniors, and Knit Wits of Gaspee Senior Center. Lee enjoyed traveling throughout the U.S.A., Europe, and Asia and also dining out as much as possible with her merry widows.

She is survived by her three loving daughters: Susan Turner (William) of New York, Patricia Lincoln (James) of Cranston, and Marianne Andrukiewicz of Warwick. She was the Babcie of six grandchildren: Christopher Turner (Jenn) of New Jersey, Jeremy Turner (Marie-Aude) of Maryland, Stephanie (Don) Kennedy of Warwick, Joseph Peloquin of East Greenwich, Paul Provencal Jr. (Tarah) of Warwick, and Gabrielle McVicker (Sean) of Massachusetts.

She also leaves her precious eight great-grandchildren: Logan and Kylie Kennedy of Warwick, Dylan and Cody Turner of New Jersey, Adelle and Milan Provencal of Warwick, Graham and Calla McVicker of New Hampshire. Lee was also the sister of the late Celia Kotkowski, Helen Maksymowicz, and Stasia Bombola. She also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian burial at St. Adalbert’s Church, Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 10 A.M. Burial will be private.
