Library offers teens chance to become zombies, party at nightclub in August

Teens will have an opportunity to transform themselves into members of the undead at the Warwick Library’s Zombify Me! The event will be held at the library on Thursday, Aug. 9 at 3 p.m.

Teens will discover how to deconstruct clothing, make bloodstains and use makeup to become a zombie, as well as snack on fingers and brains, and sample the best in zombie literature. Bring old clothes that can be ripped and stained to be turned into a zombie outfit.

On Thursday, Aug. 16 from 3 to 5 p.m., teens can celebrate the end of summer at the Light Up the Night Hollywood nightclub party. Come for food, dancing and prize drawings, including the drawing for the Teen Summer Reading Program Prize Packs. This is a black light event, so come prepared to glow.

These events are free and open to all teens entering grades 7-12. Register online at warwicklibrary.org or call 739-5440 ext. 6. The library is located at 600 Sandy Lane.
