Two years ago on the east side of Warwick Neck, the gas company put new gas lines in most of the streets from Tidewater Drive down to the bay. They did a good job of tamping the dirt back in and repaving the narrow trench and I thought the job was done.

The following year they dug up the road and repaved half of the road. This is when the problems began; nobody wants to drive on the other side of the road with its patched-up potholes and sunken places where other utilities have installed their services.

Sometimes it’s like driving in merry old England around this neighborhood.
