Linda J. (Plant) Denson, 76 of Warwick, RI, went home to be with the Lord on April 2, 2016. She spent her last days surrounded by her family.

Linda was a life long resident of Rhode Island having been born in Pawtucket and later moving to Warwick where she spent most of her years. She was a member of the first graduating class of Veteran's Memorial High School. As a young woman, she sang professionally and passed on her love of music to her family. She enjoyed living on Warwick Lake and loved the ocean. She was a Jack A Trades and worked various jobs to support her family. Linda was a strong woman with a sassy attitude and a great sense of humor. In her later years, she took great joy laboring in her beautiful gardens. Linda always had a beautiful home as she was a talented interior decorator.

She leaves behind her son Jay Guinan and his wife, Deanna; Tammy Stang, wife of the late William A. Stang III and Holly Ewans and her, husband Fred. Nannie, as her grandchildren called her, leaves behind her nine grandchildren: William A. Stang IV, Zachary Clements, Alexander Stang, Joshua Guinan, Colby Clements, Samantha Guinan, Dakota Clements, Nicholas Guinan and Tabitha Guinan.

After a long battle with COPD, we are thankful that she is no longer in any pain or suffering. Thank you to all that helped her in so many ways especially her friends Betty Marsis and Jean Goff.

Having placed her faith in Jesus Christ, Linda had expressed that her death be met with joy and not sorrow. She will be missed by all who knew her. No services are to be held per her request. Information and condolences, visit TheQuinnFuneralHome.com
